The Alpen Adria University (Inst. of Social Ecology, Vienna) seeks to fill the position of a professor of Social Ecology (successor of Marina Fischer-Kowalski).
We are looking for a distinguished researcher, academic teacher and leader with a qualification in social sciences. She/he should have an outstanding research and publication record covering a broad spectrum of social science themes related to sustainability and society-nature interaction. We expect engagement in inter- and transdisciplinary research as a team member of the Institute of Social Ecology and the ability and willingness to engage deeply with natural science approaches. We are seeking a committed and creative person with intellectual curiosity, strong communication skills and organizational talent, and enthusiasm for team work.
